Nightline Covers Controversy Over Tickle Porn Documentary, Featuring Colby Keller

Posted July 1, 2016 by with 39 comments

kevinTickled, a tickle porn documentary making the festival rounds this summer, has been causing controversy due to its disgruntled subjects showing up at screenings to protest and speak out against the filmmakers. One of those protesters is former gay twink porn director turned tickle porn director Kevin Clarke, seen above. Last night, ABC News’ Nightline actually covered the Tickled controversy and interviewed Clarke. It would probably be an understatement to say that he did not come off very well.

The segment also includes an interview with the creator of tickling site MyFriendsFeet.com, and Nightline even runs some footage from one of the site’s scenes. The MyFriendsFeet clip (which may or may not also be in the documentary) shown on Nightline features Colby Keller being—you guessed it—tickled.

Tickling is very fun and is mostly not sexual. It is very intense, though. We can sell semi autonomic rifles to anyone who wants one in this country, but tickling is bad????????????

Everyone knows it’s the thin end of the wedge, Hitler liked sock worship and a good tickle, next thing we know……WW2.

    • TK

You clearly did not watch the trailer. The documentary is about the people behind the scenes and the guys they took advantage of…it’s not some anti-tickling movie.

So this is what night-time broadcasting journalism has come to eh? Chile…

This was an actual news topic? Never mind gun control or terrorist attacks, EROTIC TICKLING must be addressed?

    • WebSlinger

I agree…this is yet another MASSIVE example of distraction from bigger more pressing issues that this country needs to address…

I’ve recently saw TICKLED, and it is one of the most haunting, disgusting stories I’ve ever heard in my life. I won’t spoil anything, but very little of the movie is actually about tickling itself.

    • Brunneous

Really?! Lol, now I’m interested in seeing this.

This just in. Gay News Now has learned that a federal indictment is forthcoming naming Tickle Me Elmo as defendant. It is alleged that Mr. Elmo (who asked to be referred to by his non-performing name, Navin Micklemeyer) will be charged with ten counts of interstate transportation of furry red plushy toys meant to incite children into performing various tickling acts with both the animated dolls and each other. When asked for comment, Mr. Micklemeyer stated, “These charges are f-ing laughable”.

Mr. Micklemeyer is cooperating with authorities by turning over his cell phone which he claims was hacked to obtain these records. Further, he contends that this video was created in remembrance of a very meaningful brief time shared with a “special friend”. Micklemeyer states that while he has no hard evidence, he strongly suspects someone within the Ruxpin Syndicate is behind this heinous encroachment into his private life.

      Preach.

    • WhimsyCotton

      That’s not at all racist.

      • Maximus

It’s a joke. I appreciate your concern, but as someone who has literally served as a poster-child for white privilege—a photo taken of me (by my father, whom retired before I was born) in class was featured in my prep school’s brochure for prospective students—I promise you that my race can survive a few comedic jabs. Hell, it’s good for us. Many of us need to be taken down a few pegs and get some perspective.

        • Evil John

At this point, with all of your other comments, I don’t care what you look like, Maximus. I just want to give the suck or fuck of your life. You are MAXimus.

Everything you wrote reads as wealth status. It says absolutely zero about racial “privilege.” Although, it does tell me that you’re one of those sad self-hating White people who have been brainwashed to carry some sort of guilt for being born with less melanin.

          • Maximus

My parents are new money. Their successes are largely the result of their own hard work and intelligence, but neither of them would contend that they would have had the same opportunities for upward mobility had they been black or Latino/Latina.

I don’t hate myself for being white. I do at times feel guilty for having certain privileges and advantages that I did nothing to earn. Ignorant, insecure little men and women are the only white people who conflate acknowledgement of racial inequality and sympathy for the less fortunate with self-loathing.

I’m more shocked hat Nightline is still on the air.

  • WhimsyCotton

I may not understand the appeal, but it’s not like anyone is getting hurt. Why is this being covered by Nightline, and why is it a controversial topic?
