PAY UP: Collin O’Neal Successfully Sues Jet Set Men For $8,150

sahwncanamWhen former gay porn star Collin O’Neal (a.k.a. former substitute teacher Shawn Loftis, which is a whole other story) handed over his now essentially defunct gay porn studio “World Of Men” to Ron Sexton’s Can-Am Productions/Jet Set Men sometime in 2012, he assumed he’d be paid for his content, but he assumed wrong. O’Neal was never paid the money he had been promised for World Of Men, even as Jet Set Men earned revenue from the site’s membership and DVD sales.

But, after over a year’s worth of Twitter threats and accusations that Jet Set Men “stole” his company, O’Neal finally had his day in a Los Angeles Superior Court last month with Jet Set Men owner Ron Sexton, and O’Neal won.

Via LA Superior Court (case number 13V04070):

11/22/2013 COURT ORDERS JUDGMENT ENTERED AS FOLLOWS :

11/22/2013 JUDGMENT ENTERED AS A FINAL DISPOSITION AFTER APPEAL AND
TRIAL DE NOVO ON 11/22/13 . FOR (LOFTIS, SHAWN JOSEPH)
AGAINST (CAN AM PRODUCTIONS) DBA (CYBERFIGHTS WRESTLING
FEDERATION) DBA (JET SET PRODUCTIONS, INC) . PRINCIPAL
$8000.00 , COSTS $ 150.00 , ATTORNEY FEES $ 0.00 , AND
SUPERIOR COURT COSTS $ 0.00 . TOTAL $ 8150.00 .

I didn’t know Jet Set Men/Can-Am had been operating World Of Men this past year (did anyone know that any of these sites still existed? Jet Set Men hasn’t produced a movie since last spring), so if you think it’s crazy that World Of Men is even worth $800, let alone $8,000(!), you’re not alone. And, get this, because O’Neal is filing in small claims court (he doesn’t have an attorney, of course), he can only sue for $8,000 at a time. So, he’s gearing up for yet another lawsuit against Jet Set Men and Ron Sexton, which means World Of Men is worth…$16,000!?!

A source close to both parties tells me that Jet Set Men’s Ron Sexton has yet to pay O’Neal any portion of the $8,150 judgment, which could land the struggling studio in even more trouble. Maybe they can get on some kind of payment plan?

As of post time, Jet Set Men did not respond to my request for comment.
