25-Year-Old Man Fighting For His Life After Chopping Off His Own Penis And Putting It In A Drawer

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after cutting off his own penis.
Emergency services rushed to a home in Wollongong, south of Sydney, on Wednesday afternoon and found the man was bleeding heavily from between his legs.
Sources told The Daily Telegraph the 25-year-old had cut off his penis with a multi-tool.
After cutting it off, he put it in a nearby drawer before calling for help.
NSW Police officers rushed the man and the severed body part to Wollongong Hospital.
He immediately underwent emergency surgery.
It is believed officers who arrived first on the scene are being offered counselling. NSW Police does not comment on self-harm incidents.
