Adele Cancels Vegas Residency Due To COVID

The day before her Las Vegas residency was set to begin, Adele just announced that she’s canceling the entire show due to COVID. As she tearfully announces in the video below, all dates will be rescheduled (although she doesn’t say when):

Katy Perry has a residency in Vegas right now (as do many other acts) that hasn’t had to be shut down due to COVID, and it’s a massive production with tons of crew members, dancers, technicians, back-up singers, etc. For the Adele show, it’s just her on a stage singing. What kind of delivery delays can she be talking about? Microphones? Instruments? Sorry, but something about this cancellation isn’t adding up for me.
