Rihanna: “There’s Been 39 Versions Of The Super Bowl Set List”
At today’s press conference ahead of this weekend’s Rihanna concert, the star gave no clues as to which specific songs she’d be singing on Sunday, but she did reveal that the set list has changed a whopping 39 times over the course of rehearsals and planning. With 14 number one singles (the only artist alive who has more #1s is Mariah Carey, with 19), this is understandable. The time allotted for Rihanna’s concert is only 13 minutes, and “some songs we have to lose,” she lamented. I think “We Found Love,” “Umbrella,” and “Work” are all guaranteed to be on the set list, but it’s anyone’s guess as to which other songs (at least two or three more, and maybe some kind of medley) are performed. She does state in the interview that “Anti” is her personal favorite album, so maybe ballad “Love On The Brain” could find its way into the show?
