Jennifer Lopez Cancels Entire Tour Due To Disastrous Ticket Sales
The main reason people go to concerts is to sing along to their favorite songs from their favorite performers. Can anyone hum a single Jennifer Lopez song from the last 25 years? Maybe some will recall 1998’s “Waiting For Tonight” (that’s the only one I can think of), or maybe a few people remember her first single, “If You Had My Love.” Other than that, Lopez is a novelty act in the music business and should’ve stuck to acting (she was great in Selena and Hustlers), because ticket sales to her summer tour bombed so bad, she just went ahead and canceled the entire thing. Yikes, via Deadline:
Jennifer Lopez has canceled her entire 2024 summer tour.
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” Lopez said in a statement on her official tour page. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”
Representatives for Live Nation, which was promoting the “This Is Me… Live” tour, said, “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.”
LOL, sure. It was “absolutely necessary” to cancel because she was going to be playing to empty seats. Lopez should’ve focused on booking gigs at Pride festivals or county fairs, not 20,000-seat arenas.
Unless you’re a mentally ill teenage girl going to Taylor Swift, a nostalgic gay going to Madonna, or a wealthy boomer drooling their way through the Rolling Stones, most people aren’t interested in wasting their money on concerts in Joe Biden’s economy. Jennifer Lopez was delusional to think people were going to spend $250 on someone who hasn’t been relevant in music this century. Hopefully she’ll make better use of her time this summer by riding Ben Affleck’s giant cock.
