Convicted Felon Trump Banned From Entering The UK, Canada, Japan, And More
A U.S. president who’s not allowed to visit some of our most important allies around the world might be a problem. Then again, no one likes this mound of orange shit, and they wouldn’t want him in their country even if he weren’t a felon, so this is a win for the 37 nations on the list below. Via Independent:
Nearly 40 nations – including Canada and the UK – have strict policies when it comes to allowing individuals with criminal records across their borders, and barring a special accommodation, Trump would be held to those same standards. It’s unclear if he would be allowed to visit if he wins the presidential election in November, but remains a felon.

Following the conviction on 34 felony counts in New York this week, Trump still faces 54 more felony charges in the Georgia election interference case (10 counts under the state’s racketeering law), the D.C. federal election interference case (4 counts for inciting the riot, creating false electors, and more), and the Florida stolen documents case (40 counts for hiding/mishandling classified documents and then obstructing the government from retrieving them). No trial dates have been set on the remaining three cases, and it’s unlikely that any of them will begin before November. If re-elected as president, Trump will have the D.C. and Florida federal cases thrown out, but the state case in Georgia will go on an indefinite hold while he’s in office (which will be until he dies, since he’ll presumably overthrow the government and never leave the White House again).
