Trump Says Harris “Happened To Turn Black” During Train Wreck Interview
Maybe “train wreck” is an understatement. The video above has the opening moments from Trump’s interview at the National Association Of Black Journalists conference today in Chicago, where he told members of the audience (many of whom were Trump cult members, if you’re wondering where the applause is coming from) that Kamala Harris was Indian until she “happened to turn black,” and that “somebody should look into that.” This is reminiscent of his birther bullshit from the Obama era, and none of it will matter to Trump voters, all of whom are racist themselves. But, for the tiny sliver of “undecided” voters who weren’t aware that this guy was a proud and bigoted lunatic (not sure how anyone would not know this, but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt), perhaps this will help them “decide” who to vote for in November.

ADDED: It’s kind of hard to believe, but the Trump campaign is now going full blown birther-racist on Harris. Look, there are plenty of racist voters in this country (they’re the Trump base), but even I’m not cynical enough to think that this is going to work. The doomed campaign really does seem to be flailing completely of control. Here’s one of Trump’s psychotic lawyers opening for him at a rally tonight, claiming she knows “who my roots are”(??) while deliberately mispronouncing Kamala’s name during an unhinged racist tirade about her heritage:

I do wonder if the MAGAts are just pretending to be this fucking stupid, or do they honestly not understand that someone can have a mixed heritage (e.g., Indian and black, Latino and white, etc.).
