California Man Narrowly Escapes Death When Out-Of-Control Car Nearly Runs Him Down
Is it me, or did he come even closer to death by running backwards instead of continuing to run forward? It almost looks like by turning back, he was putting himself even closer to a direct hit.
In that split second decision, it was probably hard to tell exactly where the car was headed given its speed, and he went with his first instinct to turn back, which turned out to be OK. And why the hell was the car going so fast to begin with? The driver was having a “medical incident,” and I guess it caused him to slam his foot on the gas pedal? Via ABC7 in northern California:
