Next Up: Michigan Republican Introduces Bill To Ban All Porn, Violators Face 25 Years In Prison!
This legislation, which was introduced by deranged Michigan Republican Josh Schriver, doesn’t have anything to do with the unconstitutional “age verification” nonsense that’s already in effect in half the country, but is instead a separate outright ban on all pornography within the state. Via Fox2 in Michigan:
Michigan lawmakers proposed a bill last week banning porn. House Bill 4938, called the “Anticorruption of Public Morals Act,” would prohibit the distribution of “real, animated, digitally generated, written, or auditory” depictions of sexual acts. The bill breaks down the types of acts covered, including intercourse and masturbation. The bill also includes a section that takes aim at transgender individuals by prohibiting material “that includes a disconnection between biology and gender by an individual of 1 biological sex imitating, depicting, or representing himself or herself to be of the other biological sex.”

Of course they threw in some anti-trans idiocy. If passed into law, punishments for distributing porn online include $125,000 fines and up to 25 years in prison. This means that owners and operators of all websites with adult content (including studios, porn blogs, internet service providers, news sites, Twitter, Reddit, OnlyFans, etc.) could be locked up. Oh, also, violators would then have to register as sex offenders.
What’s silly is that the United States won’t even really be a functioning country (not that it is now, actually) three or four years from now as the nation spirals into complete societal collapse, so, it’s like, what’s the point of even doing this? I guess when you’re a compromised and corrupt right-wing fascist, you do whatever you can during your final days, just for shits and giggles.
Speaking of shits (would typing the word “shits” be banned?) and giggles, here’s the full text of the bill, which includes the below descriptions of all the content that’ll be banned. No “moaning or sensual voice content” allowed!
A) Is a depiction, description, or simulation, whether real,
animated, digitally generated, written, or auditory, of sexual
acts, that includes any of the following:
(I) Vaginal or anal intercourse.
(II) Fellatio or cunnilingus.
(III) Masturbation.
(IV) Ejaculation or orgasm.
(V) Penetration with sexual devices.
(VI) Group sex.
(VII) Bondage, domination, or sadomasochism.
(VIII) Acts involving bodily fluids for sexual arousal.
(IX) Erotic autonomous sensory meridian response content,
moaning, or sensual voice content.
The bill’s main sponsor, Josh Schriver, is a 33-year-old psychopath who represents about 88,000 people in Michigan, and he’s unsurprisingly been trying to ban gay marriage for the last year. A report on that via CBS:
