Video Released Of Kidnapper Outside Nancy Guthrie's Home
There’s been no explanation on what happened to that ransom deadline yesterday, despite Savannah Guthrie releasing a video saying that they would in fact pay, so it seems like this horrific story is going to have a tragic conclusion, sadly. They of course still need to find the person or people who did this, and Google was able to recover deleted footage (it’s typically only supposed to be in their cloud for a few hours) of the armed kidnapper from Nancy Guthrie’s Nest cam outside her front door. The FBI released the video and pictures today, and here you can see a masked man with a gun in his waist band:
Does he have a flashlight in his mouth, or is that a reflection/glare from the camera? I don’t see a flashlight in any of the other images/video, so it must be the latter. He’s using a handful of leaves and branches to try and block the camera’s view, so he obviously wasn’t prepared for his, and he doesn’t appear to know what he’s doing. And putting the gun along the front of his waist is a sign that he’s not professionally trained to handle fire arms, given how easy an accidental discharge is with the weapon in that position.
