Louisiana Sex Offender Serving 45-Year Prison Sentence To Be Castrated
Louisiana’s castration law for sex offenders went into effect in 2024, and this man will be the third person in the state sentenced to castration, in addition to receiving 45 years in prison. (The other two men sentenced before him have not yet been castrated, so the state has yet to perform the punishment on anyone.) Doolittle raped a family member under the age of 13, and news above is via KSLA. Parole for most sex offenders has been eliminated in Louisiana, so assuming he serves all 45 years, he’ll be released from prison as a castrated 85-year-old.
