Judge Rules Items Found In Luigi Mangione's Backpack At McDonald's Inadmissible As Evidence
The prosecution will still get to present the gun and a journal containing Luigi’s alleged confession, but all the items found in the backpack at the McDonald’s won’t be admissible at trial. Given the gun was supposedly found in the backpack much later at the police station (how the fuck did they not see it when they searched the backpack at the McDonald’s?), the defense might argue that the cops planted it.
