Awful Trailer For The Social Network Sequel, The Social Reckoning
First of all, I can’t tell if they’re sitting outside, or is that some kind of green screen/CGI backdrop, like they’re meeting on the set of the movie? Given how she’s dressed, I think they’re really supposed to be outdoors, but that’s the fakest “forest” I’ve ever seen in my life. Also, if you can correctly identify what Mikey Madison is saying right after the trailer starts at around five seconds in, congratulations. It took me four rewinds/re-watches to understand any of it (and I’m still not 100% sure?), but before that, I thought I was having a stroke trying to separate out all of the sounds into actual words and a complete sentence.
With all that said, The Social Reckoning looks absolutely terrible, and I’ve never instantly hated a cast of characters as much as I hate these assholes. Who in their right mind would want to sit and listen to all these miserable fucks for 2+ hours? As if Zuckerberg wasn’t insufferable enough, now we have to watch someone else doing an insufferable impression of him? I loved The Social Network and I love Mikey Madison, but this is a total nightmare:
