Update On Mitch McConnell's Corpse
Following his cardiac arrest and his “hospitalization” for the last three weeks, Mitch McConnell is clearly dead, but if I’m understanding this correctly, the GOP won’t admit it because it would mean that the state of Kentucky would have to hold a special election to replace him. (Kentucky Republicans passed a law in 2024 blocking their Democratic governor from making any appointments in the event of someone’s death.) But, if they can hide McConnell’s dead body for a few more weeks, there’s another law that dictates that the special election can simply merge with the regularly scheduled November election, which McConnell wasn’t running in to begin with. I don’t have any conspiracy theories as to why the GOP wouldn’t want a special election (which a Republican would easily win in Kentucky), other than it’s a waste of time and a pain in the ass, but I’m sure there’s an evil reason why all of this is being covered up. Hello, anything involving all these demonic ghouls is evil. Also, why did McConnell’s wife fly to China three days after he croaked?
