Trailer For Resident Evil Reboot
Not sure if this is supposed to be considered a reboot or a reimagining, but it’s obviously not a sequel, and the plot is very different from the original films. The new Resident Evil (trailer below) is from Zach Cregger, who made the very good if not slightly overrated (although, everything is overrated these days, thanks to deranged people on the internet) Barbarian and Weapons, and it stars the great Austin Abrams, who was the second best part of Weapons, after Amy Madigan. This looks like it’ll be a lot of fun, coming September 18th:
