ABC Takes Jimmy Kimmel Off The Air “Indefinitely” For Critiquing MAGA

“Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be preempted indefinitely,” an ABC spokesperson told Deadline today. The stunning dropping of Kimmel comes mere minutes after Nexstar axed his late night show on the 200 stations it owns throughout the nation. “Nexstar’s owned and partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt Jimmy Kimmel Live! for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight’s show,” said the company in a statement Wednesday. “Nexstar strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets.”

Nexstar, as most know, is a right-wing media conglomerate that controls a huge amount of local programming across the country. ABC/Disney, as you’ll remember, senselessly capitulated to a Trump defamation lawsuit last year and paid him $15 million.

It’s all becoming clear now, as all the censorship and fascist maneuvers (e.g., testing how the U.S. military will take over U.S. cities) being set in place have to be done in advance of the midterm elections that probably won’t be happening one year from now. If they were to happen unobstructed, the MAGAts would undoubtedly lose control of the House and Senate, and then we’d have another impeachment, amongst other things to limit Trump’s power. The only wild card in all of this, of course, is that the decaying and diseased orange pig could drop dead at any moment, so who knows where we’ll be even one month from now.

Not that it matters, because it was always going to be over complete nonsense, but here was what Kimmel said on Monday night that got him yanked off the air:

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

That comment obviously says nothing about Kirk himself, and instead points out the plain fact of how the MAGAts have been labeling the killer as leftist, pro-trans, etc. Good luck trying to make sense of how in the world the comment is offensive, but I’m sure the cable news ghouls will have fun screaming matches about Kimmel without ever really talking about what he actually said. On the bright side, it’s kind of cool to know that we’re living in the final dark days of the United States, a country that never really deserved to exist in the first place, so I guess just try and enjoy being a part of history?
