ActiveDuty Finally Acknowledges Dink Flamingo’s Return: “Welcome Back, Dink”
It took them a while, but ActiveDuty and its parent company (Gamma/BuddyProfits) have finally announced the official return of director Dink Flamingo to the studio (ICYMI: Str8Up first reported on Dink’s comeback two weeks ago).
While Dink Flamingo was the original creator of the iconic military-themed gay porn studio back in 1998, he sold it in 2014, and he’ll now be working with ActiveDuty as a director and model recruiter (hopefully Dink’s local Walmart is still a happening spot for gay-for-pay servicemen). Because Dink has found most of the studio’s hottest men over the last two decades, this is obviously good news.

“Lately I started reminiscing about my days at Active Duty and I wanted to get back in the action and behind the camera,” explained Dink. “I reached out to the crew at Active Duty and offered to share some of my most recent recruits. It’s been great filming again and I know Active Duty fans will be excited with the guys I’ll be introducing in the coming months. My mission when I started Active Duty was to create a safe place where real military men could explore their sexual fantasies without the reality of the hyper-masculine constraints of their daily life while simultaneously turning what was once only fantasy for those who loved, admired and lusted after them into reality,” the director said. “Looking back, I really feel I accomplished that mission. Now, without the headaches and stress of ownership, I can focus on what I love and what I am best at while Next Door and BuddyProfits focus on what they are best at. It’s really a win/win for all involved.”
Executive Producer Jeremy Babcock noted that “members love Dink and have expressed for years how much they would love to have him back. We were excited when Dink reached out to us about returning to Active Duty. He has the magic touch for recruiting military guys and allowing them to feel comfortable exploring their sexuality on camera,” said Babcock.
While we’ve seen Dink’s solo recruits Thomas Woods, Sebastian Woods (no relation to Thomas), and Josiah over the last month, the first new duo scene from Dink will be out next month. That scene will star Sebastian Woods and returning model Jaxon.
For now, the latest ActiveDuty scene is one that was produced by the crew from sister studio NextDoor in San Diego. It’s called “Big Dick Blake Fucks Justin,” and it stars Justin Lewis and newcomer Blake Cummings:
