Amazon Teases Upcoming Road House Remake Starring Ripped Jake Gyllenhaal
I have no idea why in god’s name anyone would want to remake 1989’s Road House (which starred Patrick Swayze), but Hollywood has been out of ideas for a long time now, so I guess it’s not a surprise. The good news is, the remake stars Jake Gyllenhaal looking like that, so I will be watching it, no matter what. Here’s the teaser video Amazon Prime just released for their slate of 2024 movies and TV shows, most of which look like complete crap:

Side note: I realized a few months ago, after watching Donnie Darko for the first time, that Jake Gyllenhaal has been in some of my favorite movies of the last 25 years?
