Anderson Cooper Hit In The Face By Flying Debris During Hurricane Milton Live Shot
Via CNN a few hours ago, Anderson Cooper was hit in the face by a piece of flying debris while reporting from Bradenton, Florida as Hurricane Milton made landfall:

Thankfully, that was a piece of styrofoam and Cooper is fine, but given the speed at which it was flying, it probably stung when it smacked his face.
In a few hours when the sun rises, the amount of death and destruction that Milton caused will become clear, but even before the flooding and storm surge, there were dozens of tornadoes that caused multiple fatalities, as reported below by WPBF:
