Anderson Cooper works in media, so I’m having a very hard time believing he didn’t know that people leave comments on porn sites. Playing naive and being boyishly innocent has always been his shtick when he’s interacting with comedians, so that’s what he’s doing here with Colbert, and it works for the most part, especially when he reads the insane comment about trans porn.
