Another Jan. 6 Felon Rejects Trump Pardon, And This One’s A Gay Man: “This Pardon Is A Slap In The Face To My Rehabilitation”
We saw the MAGA Granny last week, and now another convicted felon who stormed the Capitol on January 6 is rejecting Trump’s pardon. This one is a gay man, and he spent 90 days in prison after pleading guilty to violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, as well as theft of government property. Jason Riddle wisely abandoned the psycho Trump train years ago, and he did an interview last Friday explaining why he’s rejecting the Trump pardon. Excerpt:
So what was your reaction to getting pardoned after serving your time?
It’s almost like he was trying to say it didn’t happen. And it happened. I did those things, and they weren’t pardonable. I don’t want the pardon. And I also learned that I can reject the pardon. And I did reject the pardon. […] I’m a recovering alcoholic. And I also had some other mental health problems. That’s a bad mix, it’s a vicious cycle. I got rid of drinking, and now I have no problem. I’m able to handle my mental health problems, but I still just can’t help but think of all the the suicides amongst the Capitol Police officers since the riot.
Riddle was also interviewed in the report below, and he can be seen about halfway through the video after another MAGAt with an opposing view says he’s grateful for the pardon:
