Anti-Vaxxer Steve Burton Returning To General Hospital As Jason Morgan
Steve Burton always seemed like a douche to me, and his firing from General Hospital back in 2021 for failing to adhere to ABC’s vaccine mandate made him even more of a clown. Of course, now that there are zero mitigation measures and this country has decided to “let it rip” by ignoring the fact that over 2 million people are being infected every day with the organ and immune system obliterating COVID virus, I guess GH producers were just like, who gives a fuck, we’re all doomed anyway, let’s bring Burton back.
Burton had been on Days Of Our Lives for the last year, but that contract is now over, and he’s returning to General Hospital, where he originated the role of Jason Morgan in 1991, in the next couple of months. Here was the announcement that aired last night at the end of General Hospital’s 60th anniversary special on ABC, with Burton walking through a door and telling viewers, “Stay tuned…big things are coming to Port Charles”:
This won’t do much of anything to improve ratings for the dying soap, but maybe it’ll bring JaSam stans something to live for. Although, I don’t even know if Jason and Sam were together anymore, and I think Jason actually married Carly before leaving in 2021? Meanwhile, Kelly Monaco (Sam) looks like she’s doing everything she can to hide her disgust at having to work with Burton again.
