Baptist Pastor, Wife, And Son Arrested For Raping Young Family Member
Shockingly, none of them are drag queens.
Just another average day for your typical Baptist family in America. Report via WJTV in Mississippi:
During a hearing yesterday, charges against the parents were actually dismissed, so there probably wasn’t enough evidence to prove that they knew what their son was doing to the other family member, whose identity is obviously not being disclosed, given she’s a minor and the victim. Another report, via Vicksburg News:
Nicholas Webb, 21, and the son of the pastor of Plain Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Steven Webb, has been arrested on August 25 in connection with claims of inappropriate behavior with a relative.
Steven Webb and his spouse, Stephanie Webb were also arrested on concerns related to potential neglect of a child. The bond for each parent was established at $250,000. It was suspected that the couple was aware of the incident but did not notify the authorities. However, during a preliminary hearing in Rankin County, the charges against the parents were dismissed.
As for Nicholas Webb, he is facing two counts of sexual battery and one count of statutory conduct involving a minor under 14 years of age. His bond has been set at $600,000, and a grand jury will hear his case.
