Ben Masters (no, not that Ben Masters), the soap star known mostly for playing Julian Crane on the tragically bad yet sometimes fun (in an absurd kind of way) NBC soap Passions, has died of COVID. The pandemic is still raging, taking over 4,000 lives per week, although the media and our government have colluded to successfully implement a full blackout on most COVID news, including the terrifying fact that millions are also being infected every month, leading to severe long term health consequences and even more deaths. About the only time the virus might be mentioned is when celebrities like Masters die of it, sadly. Via Deadline:

Ben Masters, the actor best known for his role as Julian Crane on the old NBC soap Passions, died January 11 at the Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Springs. He was 75.

Masters battled dementia for several years and succumbed to Covid.

His biggest role was also his last — portraying the rich and powerful Julian from 1999 to 2008 on the NBC sudser.

Masters is survived by his sister Cheryl Lerner and nieces Hannah and Clea Lerner of Los Angeles. At his request, there will be no memorial service or funeral.
