colbyreAfter over 100 scenes, Colby Jansen has announced that he’s no longer an exclusive with Men.com, where he started his gay porn career over four years ago. Details on the split were not immediately available, but according to Jansen, things did not end well, and he’d prefer that the company not promote him as an exclusive going forward.

colbyOf course, the studio still uses the “exclusive” tag on performers who have long since retired (Rocco Reed), or who have been sent to prison (Jarec Wentworth), so they’re not likely to remove the tag from Jansen’s profile.

Wow. MEN must hate Colby Jansen as much he hates them, as they’ve agreed to remove him from their landing page. (This doesn’t mean they’ll remove the “exclusive” tag from their models page, however.) Also, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the MEN Twitter account respond publicly to a model over something like this, so whatever happened between them must have been particularly nasty.

When pressed for details as to why he left, Jansen revealed that a “certain someone” failed to fulfill “promises”:

colby2As a free agent, Jansen should have no problem finding work at other studios (Str8Up’s advice: Do NOT sign another exclusive contract, unless you’re guaranteed a reasonable monthly salary).

Stay tuned…
