The Artist Formerly Known As Collin Simpson Will Once Again Be Known As Collin Simpson
Say goodbye to James Atlas and say hello (again) to Collin Simpson. The artist formerly known as Collin Simpson changed his name to James Atlas after leaving GayHoopla—the studio that made “Collin Simpson” so well known—earlier this year, but now he’s the artist formerly known as James Atlas, because he’s been given permission to use the name Collin Simpson once again. James/Collin shared the good news with fans this week, writing, “Thanks to the gracious folks at @GayHoopla, I’ll still be using my tried [sic—I think he meant to write “tried and true”] moniker, Collin Simpson!”
I’m glad he got to keep his old name (it felt weird calling him “James Atlas,” tbh), but after his very public struggle with addiction over the summer, I’m even more glad that Collin is healthy, happy, and sober now for over six months:
In addition to his sobriety, Collin also shared with fans that he’s been traveling a lot and has “big things happening,” as seen in the tweet below. My prediction: Based on where he’s been this month, expect to see Collin Simpson in gay porn scenes at Men.com in early 2020 (Men shoots regularly in both San Diego and Atlanta, but I’m not sure about Tampa):
While Collin does not hook up with men outside of work, it’s nice to know we’ll once again be seeing him fucking other men in gay porn scenes soon.
