Conan O’Brien To Host 97th Oscars In March
Good! He’s always been funny and does a great job with those off the cuff moments. Very quick, irreverent, and smart. Academy voters have picked some of the worst movies of all time in recent years (anyone remember Everything Everywhere All At Once, Coda, Shape Of Water, or Nomadland? yeah, I didn’t think so), but show producers at least picked a good host. For those who care, the best movie of 2024 that I’ve seen is The Substance, but I don’t expect it to be nominated for anything other than maybe Best Actress and possibly Best Screenplay.
