Corbin Fisher Model Commits Suicide After Workplace Shooting
Earlier this week, I received a tip that scenes featuring 18-year-old amateur gay porn star “Clay” had been removed without explanation from Corbin Fisher, where he had appeared in at least three movies this year. Today, I’ve learned that Clay was the suspect in a workplace shooting over the weekend (no one was hurt—but he did allegedly fire multiple rounds into the restaurant from which he had just been fired). Shortly after the shooting, Clay (legal name Christopher Luke McAteer) turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.
Via WECT in Owensboro, Kentucky:
Owensboro Police confirm the suspect in a weekend shooting has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It happened around 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Ninki’s Japanese Restaurant. Employees at the restaurant said two workers were fighting before the shooting. We’re told 18-year-old Christopher McAteer was fired after making threats.
About 15 minutes later, employees say McAteer drove by in his car and fired five shots at the building. No one was hurt. Officials tell us he was found later that evening in Butler County, KY with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
McAteer was taken to The Medical Center in Bowling Green where he died on Sunday.
The family is understandably devastated, and have posted a lengthy obituary asking people to remember McAteer’s “happy times.” Also, he was raised in a “Christian home”:
…he was reared in a Christian home where he was taught about the love and sovereignty of God, and, most importantly, the grace and forgiveness found through His son, Jesus Christ. […] Thankfully, Luke knew the Lord, and had recently rededicated his life. He had been pursuing a daily relationship with Christ in the recent weeks before his unfortunate loss with the battle of depression.
“Clay’s” scenes are no longer online, but for those curious, he performed in one oral scene with someone billed as his “best friend,” and less than a month ago appeared as a bareback bottom with popular Corbin Fisher performer Kellan.
It’s highly unusual for a gay porn studio to completely remove a performer’s scenes from their website, regardless of what he may have done or how he may have died. Videos of Corbin Fisher’s Sean, who died following an apparent drug overdose in 2012, still remain on the site, for example. Videos of other deceased performers, including Erik Rhodes, Cameron Fox, Roman Ragazzi, Josh Weston, and Arpad Miklos, also remain online. And even gay porn scenes starring convicted felons whose crimes involved children, rape, and murder—including Tag Adams, Mike Dozer, and Sean Cody’s Addison—haven’t been pulled down.
McAteer’s funeral service is scheduled for Saturday.
