[UPDATED] RIP: Gay Porn Star Dave Slick Has Died

Str8UpGayPorn has just learned that webcam model and Falcon Studios exclusive Dave Slick has died. Slick was found dead in Chicago this weekend while there for Exxxotica Expo, an annual adult convention. He was just 26 years old.
Dave Slick was a popular webcam model over the last three years, and he became well known within the gay porn industry after signing as a Falcon Studios exclusive model earlier this year. His first scenes are just starting to come out now, including a role in NakedSword’s Slutty Professor, being released this month.
The cause of Dave Slick’s death has not been confirmed as of post time, and this story will be updated as more details become available.

A local paper in Illinois has some details on Slick’s death, including the news that he had been reported missing this afternoon, and the police found him unconscious in a bathroom on the 100 block of West Jackson in Chicago. He was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital, according to the Daily Herald:
The 26-year-old from Scottsdale was staying in Rosemont for a convention, officials said, and he was reported missing at 2:29 p.m. Saturday. He had been last seen about 1 a.m. Friday in Chicago while out with a friend; the last time he had phone contact with someone was at about 8 a.m. Friday, police said. The missing man was found unconscious and not breathing about 11:35 a.m. Friday in a bathroom on the 100 block of West Jackson in Chicago, police said. He was taken to Rush University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The Chicago Sun Times has also published a story on Slick’s death, and it clarifies the timeline of when he was reported missing, and when his body was found by police. Slick was found unconscious in a Qdoba restaurant bathroom on Friday morning, and he was pronounced dead less than 15 minutes later. But, Slick’s friends didn’t learn of his death until after they reported him missing on Saturday, once investigators contacted the medical examiner’s office.

An Arizona man who was found dead Friday morning at a restaurant in the Loop was reported missing over a day later from the convention he was attending in northwest suburban Rosemont. About 11:35 a.m. Friday, the 26-year-old was found unresponsive in the bathroom of the Qdoba restaurant at 175 W. Jackson Blvd., according to Rosemont police, Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. The man was taken to Rush University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead less than 15 minutes later, Rosemont police and the medical examiner’s office said.
An autopsy Saturday was inconclusive, with results pending further studies, the medical examiner’s office said. The man’s identity hasn’t been released.
At 2:29 p.m. Saturday, he was reported missing from the convention, Rosemont police said. After contacting the medical examiner’s office, investigators learned that he had died over a day earlier after being found in the Loop.

While an autopsy is still pending, Chicago police have given The Arizona Republic more details on what they found when they discovered Slick’s body:
Chicago police told The Arizona Republic that [Slick] was found unresponsive in a restaurant bathroom at about 11:35 a.m. Friday. He was taken to Rush University Medical Center and was pronounced dead before arriving, according to police.
Police said syringes were found inside the bathroom. The Medical Examiner’s Office said the cause and manner of death is pending.
