David Duchovny Recalls “Fix Their Hearts Or Die” Line Made Famous By David Lynch In Twin Peaks
Over a month since his passing, and people are still recalling their favorite David Lynch moments. On the red carpet yesterday for the “G’Day USA Arts Gala” in Los Angeles, David Duchovny was asked by a reporter about his role as a trans character named Denise in Lynch’s Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: The Return, and how Lynch’s line, “fix their hearts or die” has had such a lasting impact. The line was in reference to Denise’s FBI colleagues, and Duchovny remembered thinking, “That’s one of the all-time great lines”:
