Deidre Hall’s iconic Satanic possession storyline is of course the most well known, but her best work for me was the endlessly absurd and brilliant love triangle between her, Kristen (Eileen Davidson), and John (Drake Hogestyn), culminating in the “secret room” and the climactic Elvis-themed wedding. You had to be there. She’s really the greatest, and disgraceful Television Academy voters should be ashamed that she’s never won an Emmy.
