Hollywood is still as dead as ever, with lazy sequels and reboots being the only movies that can lull bored and/or broke Americans into theaters (save for this year’s Sinners, which was pretty good). Next up: A sequel to 2006’s The Devil Wears Prada, (which itself was based on a book), with all of the original cast returning, plus the addition of Kenneth Branagh. The first one was fine, and I guess there are probably enough gays/women who’ll waste their money on this one and make it profitable. Via HollywoodReporter:

Priestly, still the head of Runway, contending with the headwinds of publishing, with the magazine now in a diminished state. Blunt’s one-time assistant will now be an executive at a luxury brand conglomerate that advertises with Runway. Branagh will be playing Priestly’s husband, while Tucci will return as Nigel Kipling, who served as the art director of Runway in the first film
