Embattled Florida Baptist Pastor Arrested Again, This Time For Stealing Luxury SUV
Crazy that there aren’t any rape or sexual abuse charges, given this is a pastor, but maybe those are coming later. For now, it’s just an old-fashioned grand theft auto charge for Eric Readon, the pastor of New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church in Miami Gardens. He was arrested Thursday night while driving the stolen SUV, and he bonded out of jail on Friday. Previous charges (some of which are still pending trial) and allegations against the man of God include arson, bounced checks, and defrauding an old man out of over a quarter million dollars.
