Come See Me In The Good Light On Apple, It's Never Over, Jeff Buckley On HBO
There are close to a dozen 2025 films I haven’t seen yet (Hamnet, Sentimental Value, Marty Supreme, etc.), but as of right now, the two best movies of 2025 that I have seen are documentaries. Come See Me In The Good Light (trailer above) is so beautiful and so well made, it almost feels like it’s too good for this world, just as its subject Andrea Gibson was. Watch it on Apple. It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley (trailer below) is a similarly moving look at one of the greatest artists of our time who’s no longer with us. It’s on HBO now, and it might still be in a few theaters.
