I vaguely remember the story about this woman and her trial in late 2021, but I paid little attention other than reading headlines and then moving on. This was peak COVID time, I was in the process of moving, and it just didn’t interest me. Most of all, I think having lived through years of crimes and corruption of the Trump era, I was burnt out on hearing about fraudulent crooks. Now, five years later, there’s a documentary about Elizabeth Holmes from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim coming, and everyone on social media is freaking out with excitement. I’m wondering…am I alone in not caring about this? What am I missing? I loved Fielder’s The Curse on Showtime a few years ago, so this will hopefully be compelling, even for someone who doesn’t know anything about Holmes. The trailer for You Can See Everything:
