Fed Up With Homelessness, Castro District Merchants Threaten To Withhold City Taxes
On the one hand, I think this is smart of the merchants and completely fair. On the other hand, there’s literally nothing the city can do (short of rounding up all the homeless and locking them in jail? or putting them on buses and driving them out of the city?), since there are far too many homeless and there’s no affordable housing. Sadly, San Francisco has been doomed for some time now.
