Florida Man Sets Himself On Fire Outside Donald Trump’s Hush Money Trial
Although CNN anchor Laura Coates was first under the impression there was an active shooter, she quickly realizes that wasn’t the case and does a harrowing job reporting on the man who set himself on fire outside the courthouse where Trump’s hush money trial is taking place. Trump was inside the courthouse as the final alternate members of his jury were being seated, and he wasn’t harmed or injured in any way by the fire, unfortunately. Via CNN/TheRecount:

Police just held a press conference and revealed that the 36-year-old man was from St. Augustine, Florida, and he’s currently in critical condition at a nearby hospital. Before self-immolating, he threw out a bunch of pamphlets with “propaganda-based conspiracy theories,” police said.
The man’s name is Maxwell Azzarello (as seen above), and early this morning, he posted an article on his Substack titled, “I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial.” Excerpt from the post:
My name is Max Azzarello, and I am an investigative researcher who has set himself on fire outside of the Trump trial in Manhattan.
This extreme act of protest is to draw attention to an urgent and important discovery:
We are victims of a totalitarian con, and our own government (along with many of their allies) is about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.
Cool.
Opening statements in Trump’s trial begin Monday.
