Florida Prison Guards Fired After Being Caught On Camera Assaulting Prisoner
While it’s good they were fired, I doubt they’ll face any criminal charges. This is Florida, after all. It would’ve been funny if these were guards in the prison where “Sergeant” Steven Miles is headed, but this was at a state prison, not a federal institution. (Side note: I’m checking daily for Miles’ inmate status, but there’s no intake record as of yet. Stay tuned.)
Report via ABC Action News in Tampa:

For those wondering, it’s obviously illegal for prison inmates to have phones and be recording videos, but thankfully this one was able to have a device smuggled to him.
