Hazardous, Smoke-Filled Air Fills Eastern U.S. Due To Canadian Wildfires Fueled By Climate Change
New York City currently has the worst, most hazardous air quality in the entire world, with the AQI going off the charts at 353 earlier this afternoon. It’s since gotten a little better, and you can track the global rankings here.
Raging Canadian wildfires caused by climate change are to blame for the dangerous air filling the northeast United States, and this report explains how and why the fires are burning:
