Here’s The New Speaker Of The House Pushing To Criminalize Gay Sex
We all knew the MAGA scum was bad, but I didn’t realize just how evil this Christofascist was until earlier today when people started reporting on his past. Here’s newly elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson back in 2003, condemning the Supreme Court’s ruling on Lawrence v. Texas, which struck down the law that made gay sex illegal (click to enlarge):
First of all, thank god Scalia is now burning in hell. Remember how good it felt on that day back in 2016, upon hearing the news that he had croaked? Fingers crossed that Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito (the two oldest right-wing pigs on the court, at 75 and 73) will be dropping dead soon. And on a somewhat related note, may that rotting corpse Mitch McConnell also suffer a painful and miserable death ASAP, given that he blocked Obama from replacing Scalia.
But wait, there’s more. CNN has more of Mike Johnson’s “editorials” when he worked for the psychotic conservative Christian ADF, and here’s an excerpt from one he wrote about gay marriage (read more in full here):
Homosexual relationships are inherently unnatural and, the studies clearly show, are ultimately harmful and costly for everyone,” he wrote. “Society cannot give its stamp of approval to such a dangerous lifestyle. If we change marriage for this tiny, modern minority, we will have to do it for every deviant group. Polygamists, polyamorists, pedophiles, and others will be next in line to claim equal protection. They already are. There will be no legal basis to deny a bisexual the right to marry a partner of each sex, or a person to marry his pet.”
Hopefully we’ll only have to deal with this sick fuck for one year, and the Dems can take back the House next November.
