Hikers Warned Of Naked And Masturbating Man Stalking Women On Colorado Trail
Are there really a lot of women going hiking alone, in this heat? I’ve always heard it’s never safe to go hiking alone, man or woman, due to heat and rugged terrain. If there’s an accident or you fall and you’re by yourself, how will you get help? Now, add a naked man attempting to commit rape to the mix, via Jefferson County Sheriff in Colorado:
The JCSO is warning hikers in the Evergreen/Conifer areas of an at-large sexual predator. The unidentified male suspect is targeting female hikers in the Conifer and Evergreen areas. Deputies have taken several reports to date, where a male suspect confronted lone female hikers along trails in Flying J Ranch Park and one incident at Alderfer Three Sisters Park. The first report involving this suspect occurred on April 3rd, where a naked suspect approached a female hiker and touched her buttocks. The suspect fled the area but was not located by law enforcement. On June 13th, a naked suspect confronted a female victim and began masturbating. Each time, the suspect’s behavior has become more aggressive, contacting three different women in one day on July 18th, in which the suspect fondled two victims, masturbated, and engaged in sexual conversation. On July 24th, the suspect confronted a female hiker while masturbating, and then grabbed the victim and tried to rip off her clothing. The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, fit/athletic build with dark colored hair. He has carried a dark-colored backpack in some cases. In each incident, the suspect has run off into the woods, avoiding capture.
