The Norovirus outbreak is mainly in the northeast United States right now, but there are of course pockets of it spreading nationwide, which happens every year. I contracted this virus one time in 2017 or 2018 after a family Christmas eve gathering, and without going into detail, I would not wish it on my worst enemy. There were about 20 people at the holiday party, and all but three or four of them got sick 24 hours later. It’s that’s contagious. Report via NBC:
