The men were reportedly hired by the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee to provide “private security” for their town hall in Idaho. Via NBC:

The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee identified Teresa Borrenpohl as a woman who was on video being dragged out of the committee’s town hall Saturday. In a Facebook post, the committee said Borrenpohl “shouted down legislators with insults” and disrupted the town hall several times before being asked to leave.

More via CDA Press:

Though the company that provided security for the event has been identified, town hall organizers and Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris have claimed no knowledge of the security personnel or who hired them. Coeur d’Alene Police Chief Lee White confirmed Sunday that the men who dragged Teresa Borrenpohl from the meeting worked for the private security firm LEAR Asset Management.  Reached by phone on Saturday and Sunday, the firm’s owner, Hayden resident Paul Trouette, declined to comment.

As gross as the assault is, the more disturbing aspect of the video is the entire crowd’s response, which is a perfect representation of the American people: Clueless, ugly, angry, deranged, confused, and ultimately worthless, doing absolutely nothing to help the woman and stop the men from assaulting her. Well, except for filming it on their phones, of course. Horrifying:
