Indiana City Councilman And Coroner Arrested For Breaking Into Home And Masturbating
Typical behavior from a city councilman (and a coroner!) in America. Via La Porte County, Indiana sheriff’s office:
Deputy Corey Chavez was dispatched to a residence located in rural Noble Township in reference to a burglary in progress. Deputy Chavez, along with other responding deputies, were advised that a male subject had been observed on video surveillance entering the bedroom of the homeowner. The homeowner identified the subject as John P. Sullivan, 62, of Wanatah.
As deputies continued to respond, information was relayed that Sullivan was observed on the video surveillance footage performing a sexual act.
Personnel from the Kingsford Heights Police Department were first to arrive at the residence. Simultaneously, a gray Honda passenger vehicle was observed traveling in reverse in the driveway. A vehicle stop was initiated, and Sullivan was identified as the driver.
Sullivan was taken into custody and detained until other responding sheriff’s deputies arrived. Sullivan was eventually transported to the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office and later turned over to the staff at the La Porte County Jail (LCJ).
Sullivan was arrested for Residential Entry (Level 6 Felony) and Malicious Mischief (B-Misdemeanor). Sullivan remains housed in the LCJ and is being held on a $755 cash-only bond through Circuit Court. Sullivan was previously arrested for Residential Entry, a Level 6 Felony, in August 2018. In that incident Sullivan entered the residence of a Wanatah woman without permission. Sullivan originally denied the incident before later pleading guilty.
As noted, this is the second time the city councilman/coroner has been arrested for breaking into someone’s home, but it is the first time he was seen jerking off in a home he broke into.
