Indicted GOP Criminal George Santos Has Phony Meltdown While Screaming At Jewish Man On Capitol Hill: “Fucking Terrorist Sympathizer!”
George Santos, the soon-to-be convicted felon and former drag queen turned GOP congressman facing a 23-count felony indictment for fraud and conspiracy, tried out some of his acting skills in the halls of congress today, staging a histrionic meltdown after confronting a man for being critical of the Israeli government. Santos falsely labeled the man, who’s apparently Jewish, a “fucking terrorist sympathizer!” but it’s not clear what prompted the confrontation or why the man was speaking to Santos in the first place. Perhaps he was an actor paid off by Santos to put on a little show for the cameras? Here was the first argument:

Then, Santos continued his rampage as he paraded down the hall screaming about Israel and the man he just accosted:

As noted above, Santos is facing over 50 years in prison for defrauding campaign donors out of thousands of dollars and obstructing the federal election commission. A fake meltdown isn’t going to slow his prosecution down, but maybe screaming and getting a lot of cameras in his face helped relieve some stress. As a reminder, prior to being elected, Santos lied about his grandparents being Holocaust survivors and made anti-Semetic Facebook posts in which he praised Hitler and wrote that Jews should be killed:
