It’s Official: OnlyFans Posts New Acceptable Use Policy And Confirms To Content Creators That All Porn Is Banned

Despite some completely contradictory messaging from OnlyFans yesterday (the company issued a public statement clearly saying that it was banning sexually explicit content beginning October 1st, but then in private messages to users on the platform, OnlyFans said it was not banning sexually explicit content, and that their statement to media outlets was not true), the soon-to-be former porn site has now confirmed to its users and customers that all sexually explicit content will indeed be banned beginning on October 1st. And, they’ve confirmed that “sexually explicit” content is defined as intercourse, masturbation, and genital-on-gential contact between individuals, per the new Acceptable Use Policy:

Do not upload, post, display, or publish Content on OnlyFans that shows, promotes, advertises or refers to “sexually explicit conduct”, which means:

i. actual or simulated sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, between persons of any sex;

ii. actual or simulated masturbation;

iii. any exhibition of the anus or genitals of any person which is extreme or offensive;

iv. actual or simulated material depicting bodily fluids commonly secreted during sexual conduct

As explained yesterday, OnlyFans has been forced to ban porn due to pressure from Mastercard and Visa, who’ve threatened to stop processing payments for the porn site after evangelical groups went to American politicians with false claims that OnlyFans was engaging in sex trafficking and child exploitation. Without the banks and payment processors, OnlyFans can’t exist, so they had no choice but to capitulate. And yet, ironically, OnlyFans can’t exist without porn and sex workers once the ban goes into effect in a few months. The site will likely be out of business completely or converted into some sort of poor man’s TikTok by early next year.

Here’s a screenshot of a message OnlyFans sent out this afternoon to content creators, many of whom are now beginning to migrate all of their porn videos to other platforms like 4MyFans:
