Janitor Facing Aggravated Assault With Deadly Weapon Charge After Peeing In Woman’s Water Bottle And Infecting Her With STD
After watching the report above, here are more details via NBC2 Houston:
Investigators said, during questioning, Diaz admitted that he did it with malicious intent, according to documents. He allegedly told investigators that he had a “sickness” and did not know how many times he urinated in the workers’ drinking supply. Blood and urine samples were obtained from Diaz and results indicated he tested positive for two sexually transmitted diseases. One of them was incurable, documents state. The victim also had lab work done and learned she had contracted the incurable disease. Doctors said it could have been transmitted to her after she came into direct contact with Diaz’s bodily fluids, which he placed in her personal property. Doctors also said the disease can weaken the immune system and, in some cases, be life threatening.
I’m guessing it’s hepatitis, as that’s incurable and can be life threatening (herpes is incurable, too, but I’ve never heard of anyone dying from herpes). It’s definitely not HIV, since that isn’t transmitted through urine, and the virus wouldn’t survive in a water bottle.
In any event, God help us all.
