Jodie Foster-Led True Detective Set To Debut In January, New Trailer Released
The first season was quite good, but the second season was mostly a mess. Had zero interest in season three and didn’t watch. For season four, they’ve got Jodie Foster, and it looks solid, so I’ll give it a chance when it debuts in January on HBO. Trailer above, details via Deadline:
HBO has set January 14 as premiere date for True Detective: Night County, starring Jodie Foster and Kali Reis. The network also has released a new trailer for the six-episode series, which will be available to stream on Max. Issa López serves as showrunner, writer and director of all episodes.
Here’s the official logline for the new iteration: When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.
