Joe Biden And Kamala Harris Greet Americans Freed From Russia In Prisoner Swap
ICYMI, the very moving moments from late last night are definitely worth watching. In the clip above via CNN, former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan and journalists Evan Gershkovich and Alsu Kurmasheva landed in the United States after being falsely held in Russian prisons for years. They were greeted by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, along with their families. This is another historic win for the Biden administration, and another reminder of how important it is for the U.S. to have good and solid relationships with our allies. More on the landmark prisoner exchange (there were 24 people and multiple countries involved) here.
